The 1/2 lb beef brisket was fresh, juicy, and fell apart in my mouth. The flavor was on point. We were able to order Cesar salad wraps (off the menu), and those were just as great. Thank you for the friendly service and quick turnaround on our order. We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. ”

“ While enjoying a wonderful day with my wife in Julian we decided to check out this place for some BBQ since it was the only one that had the enticing aroma of yummy BBQ and smoke in the air! We were not disappointed! The Ribs were very flavorful and fell off the bone. They had been perfectly prepared with yummy Rub that totally complemented the taste. Note: The portions are generous! My wife and I split a Full order of Baby Back Ribs and had to take some home. Definitely want to also share that their Potato Salad is totally over the top! So yummy! This place is totally worth the drive to check out Julian all by itself. ”

“ We arrived at Julian closer to sunset, and this is one of the few places that was open late. We didn’t happen to try the food, but we did grab two beers and I must say they were pretty good. Better than I expected for a small town brewery. There’s also quite a selection to choose from. The ambience was great. Everybody’s energy and vibes were fantastic and there’s lots of room for big parties. Although I didn’t try the food, it smelled absolutely delicious. Next time I will be sure to try it out. Can’t wait to come back! ”

“ In town for the weejend visiting from AZ. We have been craving really good BBQ since leaving Austin, TX 3 years ago and finally found it here. We tried the brisket, pulled pork, mac & cheese, jalapeno dip, potato salad, and ribs. The meat was so tender and had such good flavor that it didn't require any sauce which is how you separate the "good" from "great" BBQ in my opinion. The potato salad had a nice amount of dill without being overpowering, the mac & cheese was both flavorful and creamy, and the warmed jalapeno dip was delicious without being too spicy. We also ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and a caesar salad to go to have for dinner later that night. Unfortuantely we weren't super impressed with the pizza and ended up throwing away half of it out. If we come back we will stick to the BBQ for sure. Very pet friendly with ample seating outdoors as well as in during the colder temps. Thank you for satisfying our BBQ craving!! ”
